Uwe Rösler was brought to the Danish Superliga club AGF in the summer of 2022. With the former elite league coach’s energy and leadership, the club secured third place in the first season. Last season it has unfortunately come to a halt, on Saturday the Danish club Uwe Rösler reports that he is done as AGF coach.

After a disappointing end to the Superliga season, the German is finished as head coach of the Aarhus club. This is after a thorough evaluation between the board, the management and the head coach himself, AGF announced in a press release.

“Together with Uwe, we have evaluated the development as a whole, and we have come to the conclusion that the energy has been exhausted and there is a need for renewal. It has not been seen in isolation as having anything to do with the results in the championship game, but with an overall assessment, says football director Carsten V. Jensen.
