Liverpool legend Graeme Souness is enjoying himself when he can send a jab to Manchester United, but there are several pundits who have pointed out that some of this summer’s signings are not up to scratch. Ruud van Nistelrooy has taken over the reins at United and is issuing a warning to draw the wrong conclusion.
We have seen it a lot in the last year, where players leave Manchester United and play big at other clubs. Van Nistelrooy is convinced this summer’s big signing Manuel Ugarte will find big games – as part of United’s team machine.

“I am convinced that Manuel will be a good player for United. He had good performances against Leicester and Fenerbahce. To conclude something about players who have been here for two or three months… You have to be careful about that, I think. It’s a good signing. He’s a good player and very professional,” the Dutchman said, according to the Manchester Evening News.
After watching Ugarte under van Nistelrooy’s leadership in the big win against Leicester, we also think the former PSG player will play on his confidence – without Ten Hag.
