Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga is coming to an end, and the Napoli striker is on his way to participate in the Club World Cup a little later this month.

Although several big clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have shown interest, it seems that it is Al-Hilal who have won the battle for the signing. The only thing that lures you to the desert country is money.

Galatasaray has no way to follow!

Galatasaray were also interested in Osimhen, who had a successful loan spell at Istanbul, but Turkish media report that the Turkish club was beaten by a “crazy” offer from the Saudi Arabian league.

Osimhen agrees with Al-Hilal

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Victor Osimhen has accepted a deal with Al-Hilal. Previously, it was claimed that the striker had interrupted negotiations because he did not get his wish for 40 million euros a year.

However, new reports indicate that a deal of 30 million euros a year over four years is in place. It is emphasized that Al-Hilal have not yet agreed with Napoli on a transfer fee, and that the two clubs are only 5 million euros apart in the valuation.

“Astonishing” transition sum

Galatasaray fought hard to sign the 26-year-old striker, but could not match Al-Hilal’s financial muscle. This has led Turkish media to reveal details of a deal that is described as “crazy”.

According to Milliyet, the total value of the deal before tax and bonuses is 195 million euros.

Osimhen alone is worth more than all Turkish clubs combined except three: Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.

Osimhen on his way to Paris

In what looks to be the final chapter in the Osimhen saga, the striker will now travel to Paris for a medical test with Al-Hilal.

Ben Jacobs reports on social media:
“Al-Hilal have booked a medical test for Victor Osimhen and hope to finalize the deal with Napoli this weekend. There is still reason for caution after 24 hours of twists and turns, but Osimhen is Al-Hilal’s top priority ahead of the Club World Cup. They want the Nigerian player in Paris today to sign.”

The past year has been full of surprises for Osimhen, but now his future seems to be in the Saudi Arabian League.
