All the big ones including Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle have Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen on their lists.

But… Italian media report that Victor Osimhen, who has flourished in Turkey, wants to stay at Galatasaray above all other possibilities.

Rejects Saudi Arabian million-dollar offer

The Napoli striker, who spent last season on loan at the Turkish club, has turned down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal and wants to stay in Turkey, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Sponsors can fund the transition

Now all that remains is for Galatasaray and Napoli to agree on a transfer fee. Osimhen’s contract has a €75 million release clause for clubs outside Italy, and Napoli are only willing to sell him to Turkish clubs if this clause is activated.

However, Turkish companies are ready to contribute by offering sponsorships to cover the costs of the trigger clause.

This means that it may only be a matter of time before Galatasaray send their formal offer to Napoli – forcing other interested clubs to act quickly if they don’t want to miss the opportunity. Victor Osimhen must be willing to take on sponsorship assignments and take a pay cut in order to stay.

Osimhen probably found his form again during his loan spell at Galatasaray, and now it looks like he wants to build on his success in Turkey.
