Vinicius Junior has made a final decision on his future at Real Madrid, according to Fabrizio Romano – despite reports of a world-record offer from the Saudi Pro League.
There has been growing tension between Vini Jr and Real Madrid’s board for some time, with the management at the Bernabéu showing impatience with the player regarding signing a new deal.

According to Romano, the Brazilian international has finally accepted the terms of a new Real Madrid contract that binds him to the Spanish club until 2030 – thus ending the speculation of a move to Saudi Arabia for an astronomical sum.
Romano reports on social media:
“Vinicius Jr is on the verge of reaching an agreement with Real Madrid on a new five-year deal. The deal is almost ready, as La Ser reported. Waiting for clarification on whether it runs until 2030 or 2029 with an extension clause. Vini has always wanted to stay at Real Madrid.”
Saudi offer rejected
Vini Jr has rejected offers from the Saudi Pro League to remain at Real Madrid, confirmed by Cadena SER – although the Spanish source differs slightly from Romano regarding the duration of his contract.
“His current contract expires in 2027, and there will likely be a two- or three-year extension,” Manu Carreno said.
The player received a monster bid from Saudi Arabia that would have given him €1 billion over five years – and potentially a partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr. He turned this down because he didn’t want to commit to the Pro League for that long.
Saudi were clearly eager to bring Vini to the Middle East, with the expectation of making a bid of €300 million that would break the current world record for a transfer fee.
