Although they are nine points ahead of nearest rivals Rangers in the Scottish Premier League, Celtic are clearly planning ahead and looking to bring in a Liverpool player this summer.

There aren’t many players who can walk into Ange Postecoglou’s team and improve it, but little-used Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher would clearly be one of them.

Caoimhin Kelleher on his way
Kelleher is said to be interested in playing more and in competition with one of the world’s best goalkeepers in Alisson Becker, it means he wants to leave Anfield.

Kelleher is intended to be a backup for Joe Hart at Celtic, but at the age of just 24, he will be destined for the role of first keeper before long.

Liverpool must have put a price tag on the goalkeeper which, among other things, has incredible statistics on staff. The Scottish giants have to shell out a solid £30 million, according to Transfer Room, for the goalkeeper with not too much first-team experience.
