Liverpool and Real Madrid legend Xabi Alonso is said to make his fourth signing for Real Madrid less than a month before the Club World Cup starts.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed last week that he will leave the club after the season to take over as Brazil’s new national team coach.
Although it is not yet official, there is a broad expectation that club legend Xabi Alonso will take over. He recently confirmed that he is leaving Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.
And it seems that the Spaniard wastes no time before arriving at the Bernabéu. According to a new report, he is about to secure his fourth major signing before the Club World Cup starts.
Defense is reinforced
With the Club World Cup in the United States just weeks away, Real Madrid are looking to revamp their defence with new players who can make their debut in the tournament.

Bournemouth recently confirmed that star player Dean Huijsen will join the Spanish giants this summer, with right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool supposedly following suit.
Left-back and midfield talent on the rise
Reports suggest that a deal for Benfica’s left-back Álvaro Carreras is close to being agreed, allowing Real Madrid to turn their focus to midfield. There, they hope to bring back star player Nico Paz as the fourth summer signing.
According to Spanish Football España, Real Madrid have been impressed by Paz’s performance after the 20-year-old was loaned to Italian club Como last summer. Now they want to bring him back before the Club World Cup.
The original deal that sent the Argentine international to Serie A included a €9 million purchase clause, making a return to the Bernabéu relatively easy.
The young talent has established himself as a key player for Como, with 34 appearances, six goals and nine assists in Serie A this season.
His form has also attracted interest from several other clubs, including Inter Milan, but now it looks like he will be the newest reinforcement in Alonso’s major rebuild of Real Madrid.
Ready for a new era
With Alonso at the helm and more top signings on the way, it looks like Real Madrid are ready for an exciting new era – and the Club World Cup could be the perfect arena to showcase the new stars.
