Xavi Simons moved permanently to Bundesliga club RB Leipzig in the January transfer window this year.

After a year and a half on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, the German club paid €50 million plus €30 million in any bonuses to secure the 22-year-old.

The Dutchman has made a strong impression in the Bundesliga and developed into a leading player. But now it seems that the midfielder wants to move again, if transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano is to be believed. – Lack of play in the Champions League is said to have coloured his wish. With one game left in the season, it is too far up to the top four in the Bundesliga.

The journalist claims that Simons is ready to leave RB Leipzig before next season and that he has already announced his desire for a sale to the sporting management. Top clubs in the Premier League and Bayern Munich mentioned as possible destinations.

“I’m still a young player and have a lot of dreams – the club knows that,” Simons told German Sky in April.

Previously, the same channel reported that RB Leipzig are demanding 80 million euros to sell the midfielder.

Xavi Simons has recorded 20 goals and 23 assists in 75 appearances for Leipzig and is under contract with the club until the summer of 2027.
