In recent months, Arsenal have been looking for a new sporting director. According to The Athletic, Arsenal and Andrea Berta have agreed on a contract. Atletico Madrid’s genius sporting director, who together with Diego Simeone has given Atletico Champions the regular league ticket and the La Liga title a few seasons ago, was finished in Madrid in January and available on the market.
If it’s up to AC Milan, Arsenal/Berta is not a done deal.
According to Corriere della Sera, Milan sees Berta as the perfect partner to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in charge of recruitment, and is considering a hard time buying Arsenal’s key signing.
