Real Madrid’s presidential challenger, Enrique Riquelme, promised Haaland and then Klopp before Sunday’s election. Incumbent President Florentino Perez was content to promise a €150 million signing on Tuesday. Perez won the election, but he too will not be able to fulfill the promise of the really big signing.

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer will make sure of that. Transfer journalist Romano claimed Perez was ready to bid €150 million for Michael Olise, the winger who, in tandem with Harry Kane and the rest of Vincent Kompany’s Bayern attack, produced goals for a new Bundesliga record.

“Michael Olise is a Bayern Munich player, and he has a long-term contract,” the Bayern president begins, according to Bild.

-We are not a club that sells players. If Florentino Pérez wants to send us an offer, which hasn’t happened yet – he can save himself the trouble, Hainer brusquely says.

The French 24-year-old has 42 goals and 54 assists in 107 games in the Bayern Munich shirt. So it doesn’t stop here.
