Sprint icon Bolt is an avid Man Utd supporter and had hoped to play for United, when he tried his hand as a professional footballer. It was admittedly an exhibition match at Old Trafford for the Jamaican, but stopped there. Now he is content to think about Manchester United.

Bolt has a clear favourite to become Manchester United’s next super striker – and is convinced it will happen.

“I think it’s close to happening, precisely because of Amorim, I think he’s going to sign. There seem to be some problems with how much they (Sporting) charge for Gyökeres, but hopefully we can pay and get the deal done,” Bolt said, according to Aftonbladet, during a stay in Stockholm to shine on the Diamond League.
