The whole of Norway knew how brilliant Antonio Nusa could be in the Norwegian national team shirt. Then came the World Cup, and the left winger showed the whole world what is in the understanding of the game, the move, the technique and the finishing. Back in the RB Leipzig shirt, the 21-year-old has taken the big step, the season has started with 4 goals and 3 assists in the first 7 games. For a former Premier League scout, it is anything but surprising that the biggest Premier League clubs are getting ready.
Bryan King has worked as a scout for clubs such as Aston Villa, Tottenham and Everton, had Scandinavia and Northern Europe as his speciality and has been involved in the process of several Norwegian and Nordic players who have been brought to English football. King says he noticed Nusa already at Stabæk about five years ago.

“I like him. I first saw him when he was at Stabæk – he was mentioned for several Premier League clubs and several Championship clubs, actually,” King tells Football Insider.
-Then he left Stabæk and started his career in Leipzig, where he became and has become a very talented footballer. He is only 21. He is going to be a top player. As a winger, he is exciting to watch, the former scout further boasts.

When asked about Arsenal’s interest, King replies: “Well, he knows the captain well, doesn’t he? I would imagine that if the management team has spoken, as they usually do, then they usually include the captain in certain things when they consider things. I would think that Ødegaard has mentioned Nusa because there are clubs looking at him, that’s for sure. He would be a good signing for anyone. I like him, he has a good mentality. He takes care of himself. For me, he is a player who can take the Premier League step.”
Antonio Nusa is reported to be ready for the Premier League.
