Arsenal are going for the biggest talents and the best players who fit into Mikel Arteta’s title-chasing football. In recent weeks, various media outlets have reported on the London club’s offensive, with enquiries to Madrid about opening up the summer’s most spectacular transfer: Viniicius Jr., where they are said to be willing to smash the wage record to secure the Brazilian. For us, it’s more interesting that Antonio Nusa is part of the big game.
The reigning Premier League champions will secure a reinforcement in attack, which is an “attacking weapon” in itself. Vinicius Jr. is what the Arsenal management has though Antonio Nusa is the same. Players who go directly to the goal, create chances out of nothing – and are often responsible for the finish themselves.

According to Caughtoffside’s sources , Antonio Nusa is an alternative to a Vinicius Jr. signing (which seems unlikely), alongside such players as Christian Pulisic, Ibrahim Mbaye and Brahim Díaz.

“The shortlist offers a mix of immediate experience, long-term potential and tactical versatility. Arsenal must now decide whether they want a ready-made star, or a younger player who can develop within Arteta’s system,” writes the English media.
Which adds: “Sources close to the agent industry have informed CaughtOffside that RB Leipzig winger Nusa is currently at the top of Arsenal’s alternative shortlist. The Gunners are expected to investigate Leipzig’s claims before deciding whether to make a formal inquiry.”
So, Nusa at the top of the wish list (after dream signing Vinicius Jr).

Caugthtoffside agrees with Arsenal’s assessment of Nusa as a top candidate: “Nusa seems to offer the best compromise. He is young enough to improve, but experienced enough to contribute immediately. His acceleration, close control and willingness to attack defenders would have given Arsenal a natural threat on the left.”
The likelihood of persuading Vinicius Jr. to leave Real Madrid for Arsenal is slim, this sounds like the red carpet is being rolled out for Antonio Nusa. We love it!
