Bayern Munich have a habit of being linked with big names in the silly season. Now the German giant seems to have a fresh world champion in their sights.
According to Sky Sports in England, FC Bayern are considering Barcelona’s Dani Olmo as a possible reinforcement in January. “At the same time, they know that it can be difficult to keep hold of Michael Olise who wants to go the other way.

The interest is said to be a form of contingency plan, as there is also a growing interest from other clubs in creative midfielders Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise, who are already playing in Munich.
Olmo is said to be seen as both a possible reinforcement and a future replacement if Musiala or Olise were to disappear.
Olmo has a past in German football, where he belonged to RB Leipzig before Barcelona – and Bayern Munich’s interest is said to have grown already during the midfielder’s time there.
What complicates a possible purchase of Olmo is that the Spaniard is said to be valued at well over a billion kroner by Barcelona.
28-year-old Olmo joined Barcelona in 2024 and has a contract until the summer of 2030. He is a national team player for Spain and helped win World Cup gold this summer.
