I think Bayern Munich will go for Nick Woltemade as Harry Kane’s surprising successor. Although the German giants are sure they will get an extension before Christmas, they are not 100%, especially not after Barcelona started to register their interest
Kane is still scoring goals on a regular basis and has become the fastest player to 100 goals for Bayern, but at 33, the Ballon d’Or challenger is nearing the end of his career. And European football expert Andy Brassell believes that the German giants will eventually sign Woltemade – despite the striker’s problems at Newcastle.

German international Nick Woltemade joined Newcastle from Stuttgart last summer, just before Alexander Isak left for Liverpool, and scored eight Premier League goals in his first season with the Magpies.
However, he only found the back of the net twice between the turn of the year and the end of the season, and has since been loaned out to Juventus.
Bayern ‘convinced’ that Woltemade would come sooner
Still only 24 years old, Woltemade has theoretically yet reached his prime, and Brassell believes he will one day find his way back to the Bundesliga with Bayern.
“I still think Woltemade will end up at Bayern at some point,” he told talkSPORT’s Hawksbee and Jacobs.
“They were convinced that he would go there before Newcastle, and he has had a difficult start at Juventus as well… Quite a messy situation.
“They are trying to rebuild the front of their team, and they have ended up with this striker pair consisting of him and Randal Kolo Muani.
“They were really incapable at the end of last season. It’s the blind who guides the blind.
Woltemade is still waiting to get started for Juve
Woltemade’s two appearances for Juventus so far have been as a substitute, and he has only played 44 minutes in total.
He has only managed three shots in that time – all off target.
The loan spell came after he had made two appearances for Newcastle early in the season.

He played the entirety of the Carabao Cup’s second-round win over West Brom before coming off the bench and setting up Yoane Wissa’s goal in the 2-0 Premier League win away to Tottenham.
Nevertheless, he was loaned out to Juve on deadline day.
He hopes to get started for the Bianconeri when they host Dutch side NEC Nijmegen in their Europa League opener on Thursday.
