£11 million for a Danish striker is a significant investment for the Scottish giants. In 2019, the club paid £9 million for Odsonne Edouard, in 2024 £11 million for Arne Engels. This places the Høgh transfer right up there in the transfer record layer. Still, Celtic are not done shopping.
Earlier this summer, Colombian Camilo Duran arrived, this week Kasper Høgh is in place at Celtic Park with a four-year contract.

The Bodø/Glimt star will thus make it to the Premiership opener at home against Dundee on August 3.
Celtic manager Martin O’Neill praises Høgh as the perfect type of player for Celtic, and promises there will be more to come.
“We are trying to bring some quality into the football club. We want to bring in a few more players, there’s no doubt about that, but I want quality over quantity. It will be very, very important this season, there is no doubt about that,” Celtic coach Martin O’Neill told the club’s website.
