With a meagre three points from five La Liga games, the Malaga management understands they have to do something drastic. The drastic thing will be to call a former Manchester United star and invite him to the holiday island.
It’s been a long time since Anthony Martial was seen as a star at United, but the Frenchman has scored 90 goals and provided 54 assists in 317 appearances and had his strong seasons. For Malaga, it’s all about taking advantage of the opportunities in the free agent market, where they are now betting that Martial hasn’t completely withered in front of the opposition’s goal.

The 30-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Mexican side Monterrey in July, but is now said to be in close negotiations with the La Liga club, reports French Foot Mercato.
The former Manchester United profile became familiar with Spanish football in the spring of 2022 when he was on loan at Sevilla. Here he played 12 games with one goal and one assist.
