Jürgen Klopp has received a surprising offer to make a dramatic comeback as manager of an ambitious club backed by serious luxury money.
Klopp is clearly one of the most respected coaches in world football, first for the job he did at Borussia Dortmund, then for what he achieved at Liverpool. Now he can get the chance to return to the bench. “We would like him back in the Premier League, especially now that another great manager Pep Guardiola finds something else to do than manage Manchester City.

The German has been without a job as manager since the end of the 2024 season, when he chose to leave Liverpool after nine years as the club’s manager. During his time at the English club, he won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Club World Cup. In addition, there are the two Bundesliga titles and the DFB Cup he won with Dortmund.
After leaving Liverpool, Klopp took a short break from the leadership role. However, he has since taken a step back from the day-to-day running of a team by being named Red Bull’s Head of Global Soccer in October 2024. – A well-paid, somewhat boring job behind the scenes.
This role could prove crucial in convincing the German to return to the football leadership. He has worked closely with Paris FC, as the sports drink brand owns 11 percent of the French club.
Paris FC finished 11th in Ligue 1 this season, which is a respectable position considering it was the club’s first season back in the French top flight after a 46-year hiatus.
Klopp was present at the match between Paris FC and Lyon on the same night that Liverpool lost to Crystal Palace.
The Arnault family’s vast empire
The majority owners of the club, the French billionaire family Arnault, are incredibly ambitious. The family controls the world’s largest luxury group, LVMH, which owns brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Givenchy and Moët & Chandon, among others. Antoine Arnault, son of the group’s founder Bernard Arnault, is a central figure in the family’s sports venture. The goal of Paris FC is clear: to win the club’s very first trophy and qualify for the Champions League.
The question is: Who is better suited to build such a project around than Klopp? After all, he has built up two clubs and fought his way into the European elite with both.
Antoine Arnault spoke to AFTER FOOT about his desire to lure the 58-year-old German back into the football leadership, especially after Klopp has spent time recharging his batteries after 23 consecutive seasons as manager of three different clubs.
Arnault stated the following: “Who doesn’t dream of having Jürgen? Of course, one day we dream of seeing him. It won’t be anytime soon, because he doesn’t want to be back on the bench right away, but maybe in three, four or five years. If we qualify for the Champions League, I would like to persuade him to come and coach our team.”
