England international Ivan Toney has been charged with violence at a nightclub in Soho, London. The 30-year-old striker from Northampton is accused of inflicting actual bodily harm on a person at a nightclub in Wardour Street.
The assault is said to have taken place in December, but only now is it coming to the surface.

Toney will appear in Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 24 September.
National team player with a heavy track record
Toney has represented England in both the Euro 2024 and the World Cup in 2026.
He played for Brentford between 2020 and 2024, before being sold to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli for £40 million.
Rumoured to return to the Premier League
Despite the impending trial, Toney has recently been linked with a return to the Premier League.
The rumours come in the wake of his former coach Matthias Jaissle recently being hired as the new head coach of Newcastle United – which has sparked speculation that Toney could be reunited with his old mentor at St. James’ Park.
For now, however, it is the trial that awaits – and a decision that could have major consequences for both the career and future of the English striker.
