Everton have signed seven new players this summer, including Arsenal player Christian Nørgaard, but with only 18 players in the squad, David Moyes has a big problem. That doesn’t seem to stop the Scot from building on last season’s progress points away from a Europa League ticket, but he knows they will feel the blunder in the transfer market.
Because with a strong draw away to Bournemouth, then a strong home win against Crystal Palace, Everton stand with four out of a possible six points. David Moyes still takes time to create realistic expectations for the thin squad.

The Premier League club tried to sign Monaco striker Folarin Balogun, but the deal fell through, while the club sold Iliman Ndiaye to Manchester City in a big deal. Now Thierno Barry stands as the only natural striker.
“I’m disappointed we didn’t do more. I’m disappointed that things didn’t go our way in the end, but sometimes you have to live with disappointments in football, and we do,” Moyes said, according to Sky Sports.
