It is not often that Estonian players reach the very top, but for Ragnar Kelvan, his career has been full of great memories. For Vålerenga supporters, Klavan’s two games in the blue shirt on loan are probably seen as the biggest, but we can’t get away from the round at Anfield with 53 games in the Liverpool shirt. On Tuesday, the 39-year-old decided to close the door to professional football, but throws himself directly into the next open door.
Vålerenga, AZ Alkmaar, Augsburg, Liverpool, Cagliari, saw the end of his career in JK Tallinna Kalev this week. Klavan, with his 130 caps on the Estonian national team, uses the opportunity to promote his candidacy.
In May, the Estonian Football Association elects a new president, Klavan is ready.
- My next big dream is a dream for Estonian football. I am happy to announce that I am running for president of the Estonian Football Association in 2025," Klavan writes on Instagram.
We thank you for the entertainment and wish Klavan good luck on the next leg.
