In the last ten games between Fulham and Manchester United, 6 overtime goals have been scored in the second half. On Sunday, it was time for another showdown, this time at Craven Cottage. Michael Carrick and Manchester United in 13th place in the table could not afford any more losses, the first half was evenly played and characterized by chances for both teams without scoring.

After the break, it was Berge, Bobb and the Fulham gang who looked the sharpest. In the 63rd minute, things came loose. Bobb and Berge were substituted in the 71st and 77th minutes, right up until the 89th minute it went towards victory for Fulham. Then Matheus Cunha strikes with a shot that changes direction and suddenly Fulham’s deserved three points are reduced to two on a share.
A shame for Berge and Bobb who had to see it turn around from the bench, but still a strong game that is worth taking with them into the Nations League against Portugal.
