Then came the opportunity at Coventry in November 2024. Lampard created calmness, stability and a football that proved to wreak havoc with the opponents in the Championship. In the 2025/26 season, Lampard led the club to the title, eleven points ahead of Ipswich, and the eventual promotion to the Premier League.
Lampard has a contract until the end of the 2027 season, but the Coventry management is not waiting to see how things go in the top division. Frank Lampard is the right man for the job, according to Sky Sports , the parties are close to agreeing on a contract extension.
