I’ve always been distrustful of people who spend more time on hair care than anything else. – At least you don’t become a fantastic football player. I get that feeling every time I watch Alejandro Garnacho play. Buckets of potential and the wrong focus. Chelsea have also discovered not everything is as it should be and are “open to bids” for Alejandro Garnacho. Something they will also do for the controversial Enzo Fernández.
Garnacho has had a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge after his move from Manchester United last summer, worth £40 million. So far, he has only scored one goal in the Premier League.

The Argentine was once one of the highest-rated players at Old Trafford, but his career at Manchester United came to a halt after several arguments with different managers.
Garnacho hoped to revive his career at Chelsea – the club he actually cheered for as a child – but has struggled to make an impression, starting fewer than half of the club’s games.
Ready for sale – to make room for new signings
The 21-year-old winger is under contract with Chelsea until 2032, but he has already been linked with a new transfer. The Telegraph claims that Chelsea are “open to bids” for Garnacho before the summer, while also trying to make room in the squad for even more new signings.
Where Garnacho might end up is currently unclear. But he attracted interest from several Italian clubs towards the end of his time at Manchester United.

Fernández also on his way out – Palmer rumoured away
Garnacho may not be the only high-profile departure from Stamford Bridge this summer. According to The Guardian, Chelsea are also “willing to sell” influential midfielder Enzo Fernández.
Fernández has repeatedly flirted with Real Madrid since Chelsea’s Champions League exit against PSG. His comments led to then-manager Liam Rosenior scrapping the World Cup winner for two games. Rosenior insisted that the case was closed before he was fired, but Fernández is still the subject of massive transfer speculation.
Chelsea have not ruled out a sale, but they will charge a “high price” for a player who cost them over £100 million back in 2023.
England’s star Cole Palmer has also been linked with a possible farewell after a more subdued season for the former Premier League Young Player of the Season.
Turning point in the FA Cup – but heavy in the league
Chelsea lost their last five Premier League games without scoring a single goal under Rosenior, who only managed to lead the club for three months. On Sunday, the Blues finally got back on the winning track – in the FA Cup. They beat Leeds United 1-0 and are ready for the final, where Manchester City awaits.
Before then, interim manager Calum McFarlane will try to save Chelsea’s failing European hopes in Premier League clashes against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.
