West Ham have one goal this season, to climb back to the Premier League. – In July, it became clear that they will not do that with Adama Traoré as they did not get his contract renewed. The London club wanted an extension, but not enough to meet the 30-year-old’s demands.
The right winger has found a new club, which was signalled earlier in the week. Deportivo de A Coruña, who fought their way up to La Liga, confirmed on Thursday they have signed.

Adama Traoré is primarily known from his time at Wolverhampton and the extreme physical transformation he underwent there, he probably lived in a gym for months. He has also represented clubs such as Fulham and Barcelona.
Outside of his time in Catalonia – where he was on loan from Wolves in the spring of 2022 – Traoré has been playing his football in England since 2015.
He has eight appearances for the Spanish national team.
