Jadon Sancho is willing to wait until January for the right offer if necessary. The former Manchester United winger has held talks with several clubs in recent months, and hopes of a dream transfer have now hit a solid wall.
Sancho is currently without a club after leaving Manchester United in the summer. Despite interest from several quarters, there is currently nothing far enough ahead for him to commit to a new destination. “His impressive salary over several years means that there is no rush to that part of things.
Paris Saint-Germain activates “Operation Haaland”
His £8 million salary has clearly contributed to Manchester United’s £1 billion deficit. “But most of the blame falls on the Glazer family who have the world’s biggest straw into the club’s coffers. They have sucked out over £1 billion over the years they have mismanaged the club.
Sources can reveal that Sancho – who made 39 appearances on loan for Aston Villa last season – has been in talks with a number of clubs about the possibility of joining them, as he weighs up the next step in his career. The talks have taken place in Europe, Saudi Arabia, the United States and the Middle East.
Sancho has held talks with clubs in Saudi Arabia’s Pro League and Major League Soccer in the United States, while there has also been interest from the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

The dream of Dortmund – which is no longer open
A return to Borussia Dortmund was a path Sancho was – and still is – particularly interested in. There, he experienced some of the best football of his career during his first stint at the Bundesliga club.
But Dortmund do not yet look set to bring Sancho back, after they brought in Arsenal talent Ethan Nwaneri on loan. That decision put the winger in a tricky situation – and now he is considering a number of alternative options.
We understand that Dortmund manager Niko Kovac is an admirer of Sancho, but at this stage, the club is not making a push for the winger. There have also been rumours linking Sancho to a move to Russia and Krasnodar – but the sources can now explain why that was never a serious option for the 26-year-old.
The truth behind the Krasnodar rumors
While sources can confirm that intermediaries did indeed have talks about a potential transfer to Krasnodar, these talks did not come from Sancho’s camp. He never seriously considered a transfer to Russia.
There is interest in Sancho from clubs in Germany, France and Spain, but as things stand, none of these paths have progressed far enough to a deal.
However, we can reveal that Cesc Fabregas’ Como have also looked at the possibility of signing Sancho – but that interest is not developing now either.
Calm, but patient – training with an amateur club
Sancho is therefore prepared to be patient while his representatives consider the options available.
The former Manchester City youngster has been training with an amateur club in Manchester to keep up his form, while his team works to find the right opportunity.
This means that Sancho could potentially be without a club until the new year, if the right offer does not appear before then.
The priority is said to be to find the right sporting project – not to throw yourself into a transfer just to secure a club.
