Jadon Sancho never found his place at Manchester United. Then came the loan to Borussia Dortmund last season who went straight to the Champions League final, the 24-year-old has also occasionally shown match form at Chelsea on loan. The conflict that has kept Sancho out of United’s games is linked to Erik ten Hag. With the Dutchman gone, a former Portuguese Premier League player believes Amorim will call Sancho back.
He has only played 315 minutes on the pitch in a Chelsea shirt so far, but Sancho has provided three assists and a good start that confirms that the 24-year-old has so much more in than he has shown in a United shirt.

José Fonte started his career at Sporting, playing for Crystal Palace, Southampton and West Ham, before stepping down after five years at Lille and now playing for Casa Pia. Now the Portuguese is speaking out about the situation for Sancho with Ruben Amorim on the training ground at Man United.
“Jadon Sancho will get a chance to impress Ruben Amorim in the summer, because it’s a fresh start and a new opportunity for everyone,” Fonte began.

“Something can click between him and Amorim, because he knows exactly what he wants from his players in all areas of the pitch. He also likes to give No. 10 the freedom to be creative, and that’s exactly what Sancho needs. It could be a great opportunity for him,” says the Portuguese.
