Now we will soon see if Ronaldo is bigger than Jesus!
On his way home, in Aroeira, the national team manager was confronted by CMTV when he returned home, and was asked about Cristiano Ronaldo’s statement that explained all the controversy in recent days.

How can Cristiano Ronaldo be punished for the Portugal drama?
According to the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Ronaldo risks a ban of between one and six months, as well as a financial sanction.
Under the FPF (Portuguese Football Federation) disciplinary policy, leaving the national team’s training camp without permission can lead to severe penalties.
The regulations state: “A player who, after a proper summons, leaves or fails to attend without justification training, matches or activities for the national teams or related to the sporting representation of the FPF or Portugal, is punished with a ban from one to six months and, in addition, if he is a professional player, with a fine of between 5 and 10 UC [equivalent to approximately 500 to 1,000 euros, where one accounting unit is 102 euros].”
A separate section of the regulations states that “absence or abandonment results in automatic preventive exclusion of the player in accordance with the conditions set out in these regulations”.
