“Everyone” knew that Jürgen Klopp could not turn down the job as German national team coach. This was one of perhaps two coaching jobs he could consider before he retires for good as a coach. The question now was not if, but when. The German Football Association and Klopp had to do things in the right order, now Klopp himself reports that the last formal obstacle has been removed.
“I have made a deal with Red Bull and it is a very advantageous deal. So there’s really nothing standing in the way anymore,” Klopp begins to Magenta TV.

“Everything is going in the right direction. After the final, we will fly home, and then we will try to get everything in place as quickly as possible,” Klopp confirms.
