Celtic supporters had huge expectations for the club’s £11 million signing. Kasper Høgh’s debut was scoreless, but Celtic coach Martin O’Neill was more concerned that the Dane could have scored 2 and 3 goals. In game number two, the former Bodø/Glimt star did exactly that.
The BBC went on to state that the Dane appears to be a “total and utter natural goalscorer”, or a natural goal guarantee. The British state channel followed up by saying that Høgh’s physical style and charisma are reminiscent of the viral internet phenomenon Techno Viking.

In Sunday’s game against Dundee, Høgh had scored his first, second and third goals in a Celtic shirt during the first thirty-five minutes to a real hat-trick! The BBC added in its tribute to the former Glimt star that this was the first hat-trick by a pure Celtic striker in the league since October 2022!
