Andoni Iraola would like to reunite with the Brazilian he knows very well from his time at Bournemouth.
“Liverpool could break their transfer record for signing Bournemouth star Rayan next summer,” sources have told Football Insider.
“The 20-year-old is greatly admired at Anfield, not least by Andoni Iraola, and has a £130 million buyout clause in his contract that comes into effect in 2027,” it is reported.
The sources reported Liverpool had contacted to find out if Rayan was available this summer. This comes after Liverpool in March, after Rayan’s first two months in the Bournemouth shirt, had the Brazilian on their wish list.
