Alisson is now heavily linked to Juventus, where it is rumored that a verbal agreement is in place between Liverpool’s goalkeeper rock and the Serie A club. This means a lot of activity in the transfer market for Liverpool, now it is reported that an Englishman at Manchester City is being considered as an Alisson replacement.
Liverpool are expected to hold talks with Alisson and Giorgi Mamardashvili in the coming weeks, with the result either selling Alisson to Juventus this summer, or keeping the Brazilian for the final year of his contract before he leaves the club as a free agent in the summer of 2027.

In both of these scenarios, it will be Mamardashvili who takes over the starting spot when Alisson leaves the club, but according to Goal , Mamardashvili could end up facing stiff competition from James Trafford.
The goalkeeper signed for Man City last summer in full belief that he was about to become number one. However, City signed Gianluigi Donnarumma shortly after, and Trafford was immediately demoted to reserve. The English goalkeeper has delivered well when he has been on the pitch, especially in the League Cup final against Arsenal that ended in the title, but is reported eager to get away from the “eternal” place in the shadows, as long as Donnarumma guards the City cage.
Teamtalk’s sources claimMan City are selling Trafford at a bid of £30 million, there are reports of interest from Liverpool, who can expect competition from clubs such as Aston Villa, Newcastle and Tottenham.
