On Tuesday, the teenager will be clapped in as a new City player, and give the supporters what they want in their first statement about the club.

“Manchester City is for me the best club in the world. It’s a dream to be here and be able to call myself a City player. I’ve spent my whole life working hard to become the best player I can be and reach the top. Bouaddi tells the club’s website.

With a price tag of a wild €100 million, this is the most expensive player sold from Ligue 1. Now the world’s toughest league awaits the 18-year-old.
