Gary Neville is the highest-paid football talker on the ball island and makes headlines weekly with his statements about clubs, players and coaches. After the Bournemouth loss at Old Trafford at the weekend, it is clear that the United legend is unable to contain his emotions, for him parts of the United squad are “wilt rotten”.

“They’ve been fooling him (Carrick) for months. He’s never going to say this publicly, because he has some kind of class. But I can say it for him. He looks at those players with ‘disgust’. He’s going to be horrified by some of the players,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“Some of the players are not professionals. I live in Manchester. Some of the players are not professionals, so I don’t have time for them,” Neville grumbles. Who has clearly picked up on a thing or three about individual players.

“There are some of the players who don’t go to bed when they should, don’t eat the right things, don’t think about Manchester United every minute of their day. There are several who don’t live and breathe for this club, as they should. Why not? Because it’s gone to their heads. More about these players is nothing!”, says the clearly frustrated United legend.
