Mason Greenwood has closed the door to the Three Lions regardless of how many goals he has delivered in a Marseille shirt, now the 24-year-old is focusing on the next step at club level.

Greenwood receives €5 million annual salary at Roma

According to transfer expert Nicolo Schira, the Englishman has now entered into an agreement in principle with Roma for a contract until 2031 with an annual salary of €5 million plus bonuses.

Now it is up to the clubs to agree on a price tag, with Roma ready to start talks with Marseille. Previously, Sky Sport Italia reported that Marseille demanded €50 million, Manchester United have a clause in their contract with Marseille that gives the Premier League club almost half of the sale price.
