Real Madrid are in the middle of a presidential election, Jose Mourinho signing has had to wait. However, there is little doubt that Mourinho will return to the San Bernabeu this summer. They are actively working on signing players who will make Real Madrid’s team machinery more efficient (read: Win some damned titles again!). Now it is reported that an Arsenal player has been given the thumbs up by Mourinho.
Both Denzel Dumfries and Ibrahima Konaté are reported to be close to a move to Real Madrid, but the Spanish giant is not content with this.

Real Madrid have checked out the possibilities of a Riccardo Calafiori signing
According to transfer journalist Nicolo Schira, Real are genuinely interested in Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori, with the La Liga club having consulted on the Italian’s situation, but no talks with the Gunners have yet started.
José Mourinho is said to be positive about a signing of Calafiori, the Portuguese coached the 24-year-old himself during his time at Roma.
