There was a lot of excitement when Nicklas Bendtner came to the Eliteserien as an RBK player in 2017. It’s been a while since the Dane was at his best as Lord Bendtner at Arsenal, but it never gets boring with Bendtner on and off the pitch. In 2019, Lerkendal came to an end, the next thing that happened gave the Danish star what he now regrets as far too early retirement.
There was a guest appearance at FC Copenhagen in 2019, but after 9 games in the first team and 4 in the reserve team, the employment relationship ended. Bendtner ended up retiring at the age of 31. Now the Dane realizes it was far too early.

“I regret that I stopped my career too soon. I should have played three or four more years. There’s not much to say about it. But corona came, and it was a bit strange. I didn’t have a contract with FCK anymore, and when there were no offers I thought were attractive, I let it go,” Bendtner now says to TV2 Sport.
