The Premier League called and calls for Antonio Nusa. It is nothing new that several English clubs, with Arsenal in pole position, had Nusa on the block in the summer transfer window. What was not known is that one of the world’s biggest clubs also invited the 21-year-old in.
Christian Falk at German Bild has now captured what happened in a few hectic weeks after the World Cup finals.

In the Bayern Insider podcast, Falk says Bayern Munich were also interested in signing Nusa this summer, where the club’s sporting director Max Eberl is a big fan of the Norwegian international.
“This is exclusive information. We didn’t get it this summer, but I’ve had it confirmed now,” the German journalist begins.
“When it came to Nusa, Bayern were interested, but he didn’t envisage being a reserve either. And I think his decision – which I think was the right sporting thing – allows him to show what he can do. He is doing that at the moment, and thus of course he also makes himself interesting for top clubs,” Falk said.
