There was never a great success for Darwin Nunez in the Liverpool shirt, the timing of entering the Premier League scene as a striker, while Erling Haaland in 2022 and direct comparison of performances, definitely did not help. Both Juventus and Chelsea are said to be interested in Nunez signing, according to the English media, but now another Premier League club is elbowing their way forward in the queue.
According to The Chronicle , Newcastle have been following Nunez since his Benfica days and are now said to be very interested in signing the former Liverpool striker. This season, neither Nick Woltemade nor Yeonne Wissa have lived up to expectations at the top, after Alexander Isak left the club.
