Everyone understood it after the Leeds game in early January, when Ruben Amorim fired open criticism of his own club management. Not many days later, the Portuguese was fired. This cost the club a fortune, after only 14 months in the job. Now it is reported that the United management can see the compensation cut after the latest reports from Milan.
At the end of May, Man Utd announced their latest financial results, where it was revealed that the club had to pay out £16.7 million to Ruben Amorim and his coaching staff in compensation. We have previously seen fired coaches take at least a year as a very overpaid job seeker, but Amorim now has an offer that will tempt him back into the ring as early as this summer.
