Chelsea attacking midfielder Cole Palmer has decided whether to join Manchester United and play for the Red Devils and manager Michael Carrick, while England manager Thomas Tuchel has issued him with a stern warning.
Manchester United have a long-term interest in Palmer, they tried to sign the attacking midfielder Manchester City at the time.
The price was nothing to say at Chelsea reportedly demanded at least £150 million for him. But it was more than what Manchester United’s director of football Jason Wilcox had available.
Palmer also played down suggestions that he wanted to move from Chelsea to Man Utd in the summer transfer window.

Thomas Tuchel warns Cole Palmer
Palmer has been a fixture for Chelsea this season and has started all five Premier League games for the Blues.

However, the 24-year-old decided to withdraw from the squad. Cole Palmer was left out of England’s 2026 World Cup squad by Tuchel.
Tuchel said of Palmer on Friday: “My understanding is that he plays with discomfort and pain, and he cannot compete at the highest level with discomfort and pain.
“So he resigned and informed us, and Chelsea informed us.
“Definitely. It’s a missed opportunity. He’s missing too many opportunities.
“I don’t blame him for that. It’s just a fact.
“He’s missing too many gatherings due to injuries and I just want to rely on what I’m experiencing and seeing in my team – and for that you have to be in the squad.
“And if you’re not in the squad, there’s a next level to impress that you can’t reach, because you can only do it when you’re actually on the pitch with me.
“So yes, it’s a missed opportunity.”
Tuchel added: “We don’t manage load. When I was in club football, I used the term ‘international break’ and when you hear it from the other side, the picture is completely different.
“It’s a competitive environment, but it’s also an environment the players love to be a part of.
“That’s what unity and fraternity look like, and that’s what we’ve been creating since last September in qualifying.
“We will never compromise on that.
“We will never let it creep in that we get the feeling that players don’t want to come.
“We’re focusing on the boys who absolutely want to play for England.”
