Neymar still struggles with injury at the World Cup

“The absence from training indicates that he is unlikely to be ready for the match against Haiti on Friday,” the media writes.

National team coach Carlo Ancelotti had this to say about Neymar’s absence for the first match of the World Cup.

“Neymar is working very hard to recover as quickly as possible. The expectation is that he will be ready and can be included in the squad next week. We chose Neymar not only because of his technical quality, but also because of his experience and the role model he can be for the young players,” Ancelotti told Brazilian media.
