Barcelona were denied Julian Alvarez signing in the summer, the Atletico Madrid management was angry at the approach of the rival in his contact with the Argentine behind the club’s back. This week it is reported that Barcelona will return for Harry Kane, if Alvarez is not available, but in Munich the Englishman is in part two of negotiations with Bayern Munich.
After initial talks took place several weeks ago, Bayern Munich have resumed negotiations with Harry Kane and his camp over a contract extension beyond 2027, reports Sport Bild.

The parties are said to agree that the new contract will last until at least 2029, while Kane is even willing to sign a longer deal, with the 2030 World Cup with England in sight.
Both sides have also reportedly agreed that Kane’s salary, which is estimated at around €25 million per season, will not be reduced by a shorter contract, although a current point of discussion is what the financial terms would look like if the deal were to be extended beyond 2029.
It is further claimed that the Kane camp is open to including a buyout clause in the contract, as was the case when the England international joined Bayern on a four-year contract in 2023.

According to reports, Kane was given a buyout clause of around €80 million for the summer of 2025 and a clause of €65 million for the summer of 2026. All in all, both the player and the club remain confident of reaching an agreement, as the 33-year-old and his family feel comfortable in Munich, claims the German media.
