Harry Kane has been a dominant force in Germany since his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich in 2023. The England striker appeared to be on his way to breaking Alan Shearer’s record as the all-time top scorer in the Premier League, but decided his time at Spurs and England was over.
Since his move to Bayern, Kane has won several Bundesliga titles – and done what he does best: scoring goals. The striker recently scored his 100th goal in the league in just 98 games.

Scoring 100 goals before you’ve played 100 games is no easy task, and it puts Kane among the fastest players in the top five leagues to reach 100 goals. Below is the list of the other nine players who reached 100 goals in the fewest games.
10. Gonzalo Higuaín (Serie A) – 153 games
Higuaín has been a goalscorer everywhere he has played, and his time in Italy was no exception. After 107 goals for Real Madrid, the Argentine moved to Italian club Napoli.
At Napoli, Higuaín scored 71 goals in Serie A before Juventus paid over €90 million to sign him – where he continued to score. In total, the former Chelsea striker needed 153 games to reach 100 goals in the Italian top flight.
9. Sergio Agüero (Premier League) – 147 games
Like Kane, Sergio Agüero dominated his time in England for Manchester City after joining from Atlético Madrid in 2011.
He didn’t take long to adapt to the physical demands of the league and scored immediately – including the famous winning goal in injury time against QPR, which secured the Citizens their first Premier League title.
However, during his time in England, Agüero struggled to stay injury-free, and injury problems constantly hampered him during his time at the Etihad.
8. Edinson Cavani (Ligue 1) – 144 games
Like Higuaín, Edinson Cavani had a successful spell at Napoli, where he scored over 100 goals for the club. It was his good form in Serie A that led him to France and PSG in 2013.
It took him just 144 games to score his 100th Ligue 1 goal, despite being constantly overshadowed by other attacking stars during his time in Paris.
7. Kylian Mbappé (Ligue 1) – 142 games
Kylian Mbappé broke through as a 17-year-old at Monaco, but it was his time at PSG that helped him reach 100 goals in just 142 games.
He beat his former teammate Cavani by two games – and at this pace, we could well see the Frenchman back on this list soon, thanks to his great form in Spain.
6. Harry Kane (Premier League) – 141 games
He beats Mbappé by one game, and it won’t be the last time Kane appears on this list. He was the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals since 2000 – until a certain Norwegian appeared.
It is still an extremely impressive number: Only 141 games in what must be called the world’s toughest league to reach triple digits of goals.
5. Zlatan Ibrahimović (Ligue 1) – 115 games
Before his time in Ligue 1, Ibrahimović had already scored goals in every league he played in, and France seemed like an easy task for him.
He won four straight Ligue 1 titles while averaging almost one goal per game, and only needed 115 games to reach the 100-goal mark. Not bad for someone who considers himself non-human.
4. Luis Suárez (La Liga) – 114 games
Suárez joined Barcelona from Liverpool in 2014 and formed an unbeatable trio with Lionel Messi and Neymar – a trio in which Suárez often had to play second fiddle.
Still, it only took him 114 games in Spain before he had scored 100 goals. That makes him the second fastest in La Liga history to reach the milestone.
3. Erling Haaland (Premier League) – 111 games
The man who broke Kane’s record, Haaland, has been a natural phenomenon since joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund.
It was no surprise that he came to dominate in England – he scored goals everywhere he went, and now plays in front of one of the world’s best teams.
He takes third place on the list, but is the fastest Premier League player to reach 100 goals since the league started – beating Alan Shearer’s record of 124 games.
2. Harry Kane (Bundesliga) – 98 games
The newest addition to the list: Kane has taken the Bundesliga by storm since his move to Germany, breaking his own Premier League record by needing just 98 games to reach 100 goals.
Considering that the English striker sometimes likes to drop down and play in a deeper role, 100 goals in such a short space of time shows his dominance in a league he might consider too easy.
1. Cristiano Ronaldo (La Liga) – 92 games
CR7 takes first place as the fastest player to score 100 goals in one of the five biggest leagues. He joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 and was immediately up and running.
He had primarily been a technical winger for the Red Devils, but his time in Madrid allowed him to add goals to his game – and he established himself as one of the greatest players of his generation.
