Teenager Yan Diomande has over the past six months played his way onto the wish list of several of Europe’s best clubs (such as teammate Nusa), where Liverpool are reported to be particularly on the offensive. The Ivorian international himself is in no hurry. This week he reiterated his plan for the coming season.
According to Bulinews’ sources , RB Leipzig are set to keep Diomande for the rest of the summer unless a truly extraordinary offer comes along. The 19-year-old shows in an interview with the German media that his plan is to continue his success at RB Leipzig, with the best working conditions for development.

“If you imagine someone saying you have to go to Chelsea or Real Madrid to do this job, of course you will be happy and motivated to do more, but I don’t think about this kind of thing because I try to stay focused on the pitch. Because my job is to play football, I leave everything else off the pitch. It gives me a lot of motivation to see clubs talking about me. I’m focused. My contract lasts until 2030, so I have four more years. I don’t know what happens after that. I’m a Leipzig player,” Diomande said after the last Bundesliga game for Germany’s 3rd best club.
Before adding the obligatory one: “but anything can happen in football”.
