Fenerbahce find themselves in an unusual situation, because no decisions can be made until the club’s presidential election has been completed. Nevertheless, it is claimed that both Aziz Yildirim and Hakan Safi have contacted Conte to lead their project.

According to Fanatik, the Italian set very specific conditions for his salary. He wants at least €15 million for one year – plus a bonus of another €5 million if he wins the Turkish league title.

Fenerbahce are desperate to relaunch themselves with new ambitions, having fallen behind bitter rivals Galatasaray. – But with the wage demand that is on the table, the club will think about it once, twice or three times.

For Conte, this will not be his first overseas assignment – he has previously coached both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in England.
