Aurelien Tchouameni’s apology on Instagram:
“No matter who is right or wrong, we should always try to find the most peaceful solution to a conflict. Above all, I apologize for the image we have shown of the club. I know that the fans, the staff, my teammates, the management, everyone is deeply disappointed with how this season has unfolded. But frustration can’t excuse everything.”
“These types of incidents, although they can happen in any dressing room, do not belong in Real Madrid. Especially not because Real Madrid is the most talked about club in the world.”
“Now, however, is no longer the time to find out who did what, who said what, or who was right or wrong. I recognize the club’s punishment and accept it.”
“We are still a family – sometimes with disagreements – but we always have to put our goals above all else. I have apologized to the group and I would also like to apologize to all Madridistas.”
