This summer’s World Cup in the Norwegian national team shirt was an adventurous journey for David Møller Wolfe. The 24-year-old needed that after a lead-heavy season at Wolverhampton with playing time crumbs. This summer, the transfer to Hamburger SV came on loan for the season. The meeting with the Bundesliga offered plenty of playing time from the start, but during the first two games, the left-back helped concede 10 goals!

Now Møller Wolfe should not be blamed for the first two Hamburger SV losses of 0-5 against Mainz and 5-0 against RB Leipzig, but it must have been a lead-heavy transfer to a new team. On Saturday, it was time for a league match again, this time the Norwegian international got 77 minutes on the pitch – and a long-awaited victory.

HSV at home took control from the start against FC Cologne, scoring just before and just after half-time. The away team got a consolation goal in the 90th minute, Møller Wolfe could finally participate in victory celebrations in front of their own supporters.

Congratulations!
