Alisson has been a giant for Liverpool and almost crucial to the heyday under Jürgen Klopp. In recent months, the Brazilian has been linked with a move to Juventus, where the 33-year-old is being called upon by his former Roma coach, Luciano Spaletti.

According to Teamtalk’s sources , Liverpool have Martinez on their list of candidates if Alisson leaves at the end of the season. Although Giorgi Mamardashvili is still highly regarded internally, there are still doubts in parts of the club as to whether the Georgian international is fully ready to take the first goalkeeper spot at a club that competes for major titles every season.
The English media claim the Argentine international has a high star in recruitment circles at Anfield and will be seen as a serious option if Alisson leaves.
