Although Giorgi Mamardashvili is still highly regarded internally, there are still doubts in parts of the club as to whether the Georgian international is fully ready to take the first goalkeeper spot at a club that competes for major titles every season.
The English media claim the Argentine international has a high star in recruitment circles at Anfield and will be seen as a serious option if Alisson leaves.
