West Ham were in talks with Thomas Frank, but for some unknown reason, they stopped and chose to keep Nuno Espírito Santo as manager despite relegation.

Thomas Frank, who had success with Brentford and not so much with Tottenham afterwards, is determined to return to the Premier League, now the chance seems to be knocking on the door.

Crystal Palace are looking for a new manager – Thomas Frank definitely in the game

Crystal Palace are aiming to hire a new manager before the summer, and Thomas Frank is a leading candidate to replace Oliver Glasner. – Glasner officially left Palace last week, after leading the club to victory in the Conference League against Rayo Vallecano.

The Austrian manager is leaving the club as the Eagles’ most successful manager ever – and it will be difficult to replace him.

Several unemployed managers have been proposed for the position at Selhurst Park, while Lens boss Pierre Sage has recently been closely linked with the club. It remains to be seen who Palace will appoint as their next manager, but Frank is still in the game.

Thomas Frank’s chances were reduced

Frank was sacked at Tottenham in February after only eight months as manager, after the club quickly fell down the Premier League table.

He has since been linked with several different Premier League jobs, but has yet to return to the managerial role. This summer, he will cover the World Cup for the BBC as a commentator.

Frank’s Premier League Manager Stats:

  • Appearances: 178
  • Wins: 61
  • Draws: 46
  • Losses: 71
  • Points per game: 1.29

Football Insider wrote a little while ago that Frank is considering taking the West Ham job, but the London club are ready to keep Nuno Espírito Santo after their relegation to the Championship. – They are now betting that Crystal Palace will be the next stop.

Who else is in the fight?

The “Eagles” are intensifying their search for a manager after the end of the 2025/26 season, so that their next boss will have the whole summer to assess his new squad.

The same leading bookmaker has Lens manager Sage as the odds-on favourite to become their next boss – at 4/9 – as talks are reportedly underway with his camp.

Coventry City manager Frank Lampard is second on the list with average odds of 7/2, while Dino Toppmöller is 6/1 as of now.

Paulo Fonseca (12/1), José Bordalás (14/1) and Andoni Iraola (16/1) all have roughly the same odds as Frank.
